After getting through the startup phase, a business will often look for ways to generate more income with minimal effort.

One way to increase revenue is to add another product line, but you don't necessarily need to sell new products. With websites like eBay and Craigslist, it has become easy to buy and sell second hand items online, and more people are now shopping specifically for used products because it is easier to find them.

Some companies, like Ikea and Siba, are going this route - selling second hand products - to provide solutions for their customers while giving people another reason to shop with them. It's a brilliant idea when you think about it, especially for a company that offers unique items that are durable and last a long time.
